About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Cashier to join our team in Cotabato Bangsamoro (BARMM). This is an on-site position where you will play a crucial role in managing cash transactions and ensuring accurate financial records. Responsibilities

  • Process and receive collections from express couriers, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Issue official receipts and maintain accurate records of all financial activities.
  • Perform end-of-day cash reconciliation to ensure all transactions balance.
  • Prepare and deposit collected cash and checks to the bank promptly.
  • Safeguard cash, checks, and financial documents to prevent loss.
  • Send collection reports to the finance department for review.
  • Prepare Notices of Collection (NOC) and Notices of Discrepancy (NOD) for vendors on unremitted transactions.
  • Validate unremitted transactions and report discrepancies in remittance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Management is preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in cash handling functions.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
  • Problem-solving skills to address discrepancies effectively.
  • Relevant certifications in finance or accounting are a plus.

Statutory benefits (Philippines)

    Mandatory under PD 851: equivalent to one month's basic salary, paid no later than 24 December each year.
