About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Associate Security Officer to join our team in a Hybrid work model based in Makati. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our systems and data while collaborating with various business units.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all AP business units on security-related tasks to enhance overall security posture.
• Perform regular hygiene checks of IT networks, systems, and assets to identify vulnerabilities.
• Track and ensure effective security controls are in place to protect sensitive information.
• Generate regular reports on security operations performance to inform stakeholders.
• Lead or coordinate the rollout of compliance projects for various business units.
• Monitor adherence to established security guidelines and standards to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in risk management and information security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
• High level of personal integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity certifications is a plus.
• Experience in contract and vendor negotiations is advantageous.
