About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Migration Specialist to join our operations team in Dubai. This role focuses on transforming, validating, and migrating critical data while ensuring accuracy and integrity throughout the transition process. You will be a vital part of our team, supporting data conversion and cleansing activities for client implementations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and format data using advanced Excel functions, including data cleaning, deduplication, and building structured import-ready files.
- Identify and flag data quality issues such as missing fields, inconsistent formatting, and mismatched values.
- Communicate effectively with customers through multi-threaded email exchanges to gather necessary or clarifying data.
- Track project updates and manage tasks using ticketing or project management tools like Jira or Asana.
- Participate in implementation calls, take notes, document action items, and send follow-up summaries.
- Support the lead Project Manager by following up on outstanding items without needing to be chased.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in data migration, data management, or customer onboarding.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data validation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
