About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant - On-site - Pasig to join our dynamic team at a leading boutique law firm. This firm specializes in various legal domains, including insurance law and commercial dispute resolution. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient billing processes and providing support to our finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Run and distribute work-in-progress listings and billing guides to fee earners for review.
  • Process edits, create draft bills, check, finalize, and issue various types of bills based on specific client requirements.
  • Liaise with legal staff and partners regarding requests for the cancellation and reissuing of bills.
  • Handle processing of refunds and trust to office transfers.
  • Make necessary changes to client details in the practice management system.
  • Assist the Finance Director and senior finance team members with ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a legal or professional services firm is highly regarded.
  • Strong working knowledge of Lexis Nexis Affinity practice management software.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong time management abilities.
  • Ability to work well with all staff levels and maintain a respectful attitude.
  • Professional presentation and a self-motivated approach to work.
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
