Junior Associate Data Engineer (On-site)

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Associate Data Engineer to join our team in Pasay, National Capital Region (NCR). This is an onsite position that requires working during US Night Shift. As a Junior Associate Data Engineer, you will assist in building and maintaining data pipelines, optimizing SQL queries, and developing Python scripts to automate data tasks. You will also support our cloud data platform, Google Cloud Platform, and contribute to data quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines that move and transform data across systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and prepare data for analysis.
• Develop Python scripts to automate data tasks and support ETL/ELT processes.
• Support the team in working with the cloud data platform (Google Cloud Platform).
• Help monitor scheduled data workflows and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Contribute to data quality checks and documentation.
• Learn and grow into the full data stack with guidance from senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in SQL.
• Strong foundation in Python.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work US shift.
