About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Safety Promotion and Training Specialist to join our team in Dubai. This role focuses on enhancing safety awareness and training within our organization. You will work closely with various departments to create effective safety programs and materials. Your expertise will help us ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement safety promotion and training programs that meet organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with Internal Communications and training teams to align safety messages.
  • Design and develop engaging safety promotion materials for various audiences.
  • Deliver presentations and product demonstrations to enhance safety knowledge.
  • Survey and analyze results of safety promotion initiatives to improve effectiveness.
  • Act as the main point of contact for business units regarding safety matters.
  • Design and deliver safety training and communication materials that resonate with employees.
  • Manage safety promotion projects and budgets to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain a comprehensive safety resource library for staff reference.

Requirements

  • Hold a Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Medical, Safety, or Ground Safety roles.
  • Possess a background in Safety, Communications, or Training disciplines.
  • Demonstrate experience in safety promotion accountabilities and strategies.
  • Show understanding of communication methods for effective safety promotion.
  • Have knowledge of graphic software and web design layout principles.
  • Understand training strategies and methodologies for effective learning.
  • Exhibit strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
