Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Synthetic Flight Examiner to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in aviation and flight training. The ideal candidate will have an ATPL and extensive experience in simulator checks. You will play a key role in ensuring pilot competency and safety. This position is not remote; you will work on-site in Dubai.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct simulator checks to assess pilot skills and readiness.
  • Perform licensing tests for trainee pilots to ensure compliance.
  • Carry out assessments of instructors to maintain training standards.
  • Complete and submit reports and assessments for review.
  • Recommend additional training for trainees based on performance.
  • Provide suggestions for training improvements to enhance effectiveness.
  • Support ad hoc projects and assist in course development.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid ATPL Airline Transport Pilot License.
  • Have at least 1500 hours of flight time on multi-pilot aircraft.
  • Possess TRI/SFI experience to ensure effective training.
  • Maintain a valid SFI/TRI certificate for operational duties.
  • Exhibit advanced communication skills for effective training.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to guide trainee pilots.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
