About the Role
The Partner Acquisition Manager will play a crucial role in driving the strategic acquisition and activation of new partnerships. This position is responsible for mapping the competitive landscape and identifying partners that align with the company's revenue objectives. By guiding new partners through the onboarding process and first-deal cycles, you will ensure a smooth transition from prospect to high-performing channel ally, significantly impacting top-line growth.
Responsibilities
- Implement a high-volume outreach strategy to establish a strong pipeline of potential partners, effectively pitching the company’s unique value proposition to key decision-makers.
- Oversee the complete partnership sales cycle, from initial discovery and business case development to final negotiation and execution of commercial agreements.
- Lead the onboarding process by equipping partners with the necessary sales training, product expertise, and marketing materials to represent the company effectively.
- Facilitate collaborative workshops with new partners to uncover immediate opportunities within their existing customer databases.
- Assist partners during their initial sales cycles by participating in client meetings, conducting demos, and providing the technical support needed to close early deals.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of channel sales experience in a B2B environment.
- Solid experience in selling software and accounting/expense management systems is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in creating and delivering tailored presentations based on audience needs.
- Strong relationship management skills with a proactive attitude towards challenges.
- Highly motivated with a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated experience and interest in the FinTech sector, preferably with prior exposure to a FinTech company.
- In-depth understanding of FinTech software/platforms, particularly in accounting and expense management systems.
