About the Role

We are seeking a Senior HR Governance & Compliance Manager to join our team in Dubai. This role focuses on ensuring effective governance and compliance practices within our HR department. You will play a key role in developing frameworks that support our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant experience and a strong background in governance and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage governance and compliance practices across HR.
  • Embed strong governance and compliance frameworks in HR processes.
  • Track and assess HR processes for inefficiencies and risks.
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve workflows and efficiency.
  • Define and execute a data governance strategy for HR data.
  • Oversee data governance activities with Data Custodians.
  • Establish an internal quality and control framework for HR.
  • Lead analytics and data management practices to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in HR or related fields.
  • Proven experience in governance and compliance roles.
  • Experience managing governance or compliance functions.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is a plus.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
