Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and responsible Account Officer to join our team in Sabon Wuse, Niger State. The successful candidate will assist with financial record-keeping, transaction processing, account reconciliation, and the preparation of financial reports to support the organization's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, accounts, and supporting documents.
• Record daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and expenses.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.
• Reconcile bank statements, cash records, and ledger accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports and account statements.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Monitor expenses and support budget tracking.
• Assist with audits and provide relevant financial documents when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures, and financial regulations.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in an accounting or finance role is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software is an added advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
