Accountant / Relationship Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Property & Lease Accounting:Track rent rolls, and ensure accurate billing and collections from tenants.
• Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) for senior management and property owners.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:Assist in preparing operating and capital expenditure budgets, monitoring ongoing financial performance against set targets.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:Manage vendor payments (utilities, contractors, taxes) and ensure tenant receivables are properly recorded.
• Bank Reconciliations:Reconcile bank and trust accounts to ensure accuracy in cash inflows and outflows.
• Tax Compliance & Audits:Prepare documentation for year-end tax returns and assist internal or external auditors during financial reviews.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Certifications: Professional designations like ICAN, ANAN (in Nigeria), ACCA, CPA, or a Certified Property Accountant (CPA) credential are highly valued.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel are essential.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
