Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Locations: Abia & Port Harcourt - Rivers

Key Responsibilites

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to deliver strong performance.
• Manage sales activities and coverage across the assigned territory.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
• Ensure effective implementation of sales promotions and company initiatives.
• Track team performance and provide regular sales reports and insights.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive territory expansion.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and sales procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the FMCG or Consumer Goods industry.
• Proven experience managing and leading a field sales team.
• Strong knowledge of territory management and sales operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work with sales targets and performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
• Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
