About the Role

• The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, and expanding the market within an assigned territory.
• The role focuses on achieving sales targets, identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
• To guide the company towards profitability and long-term success, the Area Sales Manager will execute sales strategies, grow market share, and build sustainable customer partnerships that support Prima Corp's business objectives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintaining and increasing sales of your company’s products.
• Reaching the targets and goals set for designated areas.
• Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base in designated area.
• Servicing the needs of existing customers.
• Setting sales targets for individual reps and unit teams.
• Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets.
• Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
• Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.
• Establishing a sales training program to train new sales reps.
• Perform any other duties as required

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG, or a related industry.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong experience in key account management, business development, and territory management.
• Good understanding of the PET preforms, cap, beverage, food, or packaging market is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
