Role Overview

• Drive business growth by acquiring new clients and managing strategic relationships in the Lagos logistics market.

Key Responsibilities

• New Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities in customs clearance.
• Strategic Growth: Develop and execute business development plans.
• Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
• Proposal & Tendering: Prepare technical/commercial proposals and tender documents.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Ensure proposals align with Nigerian Customs regulations.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor trade policies and market trends.
• Reporting & KPIs: Monitor company performance and provide reports.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: 5–8 years in business development/sales within logistics/freight forwarding.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of clearing processes, shipping rates, and forwarding.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Admin, Marketing, or related field.
• Networking: Strong existing network in Nigerian multinational organizations.
• Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and closing skills.

Key Performance Indicators:

• KPIs include new client volume, revenue vs targets, and retention rates.
