Business Development Manager (Solar Energy) - DYQUE

Job Summary

• We are looking for a driven, relationship-focused, and results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow DYQUE’s presence in the Port Harcourt and Rivers State market.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities among high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporate clients, and premium residential and commercial projects.
• The candidate must demonstrate strong experience selling luxury or premium products—within solar energy, real estate, or high-end electrical household items such as air conditioners, televisions, and home appliances—and must be skilled at building trust with affluent and discerning clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales and market penetration for DYQUE’s luxury solar and energy storage solutions in Port Harcourt and surrounding regions.
• Identify, build, and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporate decision-makers, property developers, architects, and premium project owners.
• Generate and convert leads through networking, referrals, events, partnerships, and direct outreach to affluent client segments.
• Present DYQUE’s premium product offerings and value propositions to prospective clients, tailoring solutions to match their lifestyle and energy needs.
• Work closely with the technical team to design and propose customized solar and energy storage solutions for luxury homes, offices, and commercial buildings.
• Build and manage relationships with channel partners, interior designers, estate developers, and premium appliance showrooms.
• Conduct market intelligence to understand customer needs, competitor activities, pricing trends, and opportunities within the premium energy segment.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring profitability and alignment with company standards.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline of prospects and activities using CRM and reporting tools.
• Represent DYQUE at events, exhibitions, and networking platforms to build brand awareness among premium clientele.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop campaigns and materials targeted at high-net-worth and corporate segments.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in business development or premium sales.
• Proven experience selling luxury or premium products within solar energy, real estate, or high-end electrical household items (e.g., air conditioners, televisions, home appliances).
• Demonstrated ability to work with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporate clients, and premium project stakeholders.
• Experience in renewable energy, construction, property development, luxury appliances, or related industries is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of the Port Harcourt and Rivers State market, including premium residential and commercial segments.
• Excellent networking, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and coordinate tailored technical and design solutions.
• Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Port Harcourt and environs.
