Role Summary
- The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, acquiring new customers, and managing customer relationships.
- The role owns the entire customer lifecycle from prospecting and sales through onboarding, account management, renewals, upselling, and cross-selling—to ensure long-term customer value and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Prospecting:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, telemarketing, emails, networking, referrals, events, and digital channels.
- Research target markets, organisations, and decision-makers.
- Generate and qualify leads.
- Build strategic relationships with prospective customers and partners.
Sales & Customer Acquisition:
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer needs.
- Present EnrolWeb's products and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate and close new business opportunities.
- Meet assigned revenue and customer acquisition targets.
Account Management:
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned customer accounts.
- Build long-term relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Conduct periodic customer reviews and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Ensure prompt follow-up on customer enquiries and requests.
Pipeline & CRM Management:
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Update all customer interactions and opportunities in the CRM.
- Track prospects from lead through to closed business and ongoing account management.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all opportunities.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Digital Marketing on lead generation campaigns.
- Coordinate with Service Delivery to ensure smooth customer onboarding and excellent service delivery.
- Work with Finance on quotations, invoicing, and payment follow-up where required.
Reporting:
- Submit weekly reports on:
- Prospecting activities
- Qualified leads generated
- Sales pipeline
- Revenue achieved
- New customers acquired
- Renewals and upsells
- Customer account status.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month (Benefits Inclusive).
