Job Title: Export Customer Service Officer

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with international buyers via email, WhatsApp and calls.
• Answer enquiries about product specs, moisture content, purity, packaging, loading, pricing, delivery schedule and inspection standards for agricultural and mineral products.
• Follow up inquiries and sample requests.
• Track full order cycle: confirm order, coordinate stock preparation, sampling & inspection, container loading, booking and vessel schedule.
• Proactively send shipment updates to customers.
• Support documentation team to verify packing list, commercial invoice, certificate of origin, lab test reports and other export documents to meet overseas customs requirements.
• Resolve customer complaints and exceptions including quality disputes, weight discrepancy, shipment delay, coordinate internal teams to propose solutions and mitigate claim risks.
• Maintain customer database and order logs, keep communication records, prepare regular progress reports.
• Collect market feedback on commodity price and quality requirements.
• Liaise with QA, warehouse, freight forwarder, shipping line and finance team for inspection, loading, payment and bill of lading release.

Salary
N200,000 - N350,000 per month.
