Description

• We are looking for a proactive, confident and results-driven Field Sales Marketer to join our furniture and bespoke joinery business.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for actively generating new business, identifying potential customers, visiting clients and project sites, presenting our products and services, and converting leads into confirmed sales.
• This is a field-based sales role, so the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling to meet prospective clients and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new sales opportunities within the furniture and interior design market.
• Visit prospective clients, businesses, property developers, architects, interior designers and construction companies to promote our products and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct regular field visits and actively seek new clients rather than relying solely on incoming enquiries.
• Present and promote our bespoke furniture, fitted kitchens, wardrobes and joinery solutions.
• Follow up consistently on enquiries, quotations and prospective clients to convert leads into sales.
• Visit project sites to understand client requirements and identify potential sales opportunities.
• Develop a strong network within the construction, property development, hospitality and interior design sectors.
• Attend meetings, exhibitions, property developments and other relevant events to generate leads.
• Prepare and submit regular sales activity and performance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, leads, follow-ups and conversions.
• Work closely with the design, production and management teams to ensure client requirements are properly communicated.
• Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity and provide feedback to management.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.

• Number of client visits and meetings
• Follow-up activity
• Quotations generated
• Conversion rate
• New customers acquired
• Monthly sales revenue
• Achievement of agreed sales targets
• Development of new corporate and trade accounts

Requirements

• Previous experience in field sales, business development or marketing, preferably within furniture, interior design, construction, property or a related industry.
• Must be able to drive and have a valid driving licence.
• Comfortable travelling to meet clients and visit project sites.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Confident approaching new clients and generating business independently.
• Target-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales results.
• Good customer service and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to follow up leads consistently and convert prospects into paying customers.
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
• Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of the local market and ability to identify potential business opportunities.
• Basic computer skills and ability to prepare sales reports.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
