TUTU Furnitures is a growing carpentry and furniture manufacturing company based in Rivers State, producing and installing custom furniture for homes and businesses. Our operations span a factory/workshop where our furniture is designed and built, three showrooms where customers can view and order our pieces, and field installation teams covering three locations who deliver and fit finished work on-site.

As we scale, we are investing in a stronger operational structure: clear roles, standardized processes, and consistent quality controls so that every customer gets the same level of craftsmanship and service, no matter which location they deal with. We are looking for skilled, reliable people who take pride in their work and want to grow with a business that is building for the long term.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Operations Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced General Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across our factory/workshop, showroom, and field/installation teams.
This role is the bridge between the Owner/Director and every unit of the business responsible for making sure jobs move on schedule, staff are accountable, and the Owner gets one clear picture of the business instead of chasing multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate production and workflow between the factory/workshop, showroom, and field/installation teams
Supervise and support unit Supervisors, and review their daily/weekly reports
Track customer orders from enquiry through to delivery/installation
Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and materials availability across all locations
Ensure the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed consistently
Prepare and deliver a consolidated operations report to the Owner/Director
Escalate significant issues promptly and resolve day-to-day problems independently

Requirements

HND / B.Sc. in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Minimum of 4 to 6years' experience in an operations or general management role, ideally in manufacturing, furniture, construction, or a similar hands-on industry
Strong organizational and reporting skills; comfortable using spreadsheets/tracking systems
Proven ability to supervise and coordinate teams across multiple locations
Excellent communication skills and sound judgment under pressure
Integrity and reliability;this role carries significant responsibility for company resources

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 monthly.
