Job Title: Head Senior Engineer
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership, direction, and supervision for the Engineering Department.
- Lead, mentor, motivate, and manage engineering teams to achieve departmental objectives.
- Oversee engineering projects from planning and design through execution and completion.
- Review and ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of engineering designs, plans, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and professional advice on complex engineering matters.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, plans, processes, and performance objectives.
- Manage departmental resources, budgets, manpower, equipment, and other operational requirements effectively.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, costs, quality, and performance against established targets.
- Identify engineering risks and develop appropriate solutions to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to align engineering activities with overall business objectives.
- Make timely and informed technical, operational, and managerial decisions.
- Establish performance standards and conduct regular assessments of engineering team members.
- Promote continuous improvement, innovation, efficiency, and professional development within the Engineering Department.
- Prepare and present engineering reports, project updates, recommendations, and performance reports to senior management.
- Maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory bodies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Drive accountability and ensure the Engineering Department consistently meets its targets and deliverables.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Must be COREN Certified/Registered.
- Minimum of 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proven experience in a senior engineering, management, or departmental leadership role.
- Must not be more than 47 years old.
