Inventory Control Assistant

Location: Sangotedo - Ajah, Lagos

Job Summary

• The Inventory Control Assistant supports the warehouse, supply chain, or operations team by maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring smooth flow of materials.
• This role is critical for preventing shortages, reducing excess stock, and improving overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Tracking: Record and update stock levels in inventory management systems.
• Stock Audits: Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
• Data Entry: Input receipts, transfers, and adjustments into databases.
• Order Processing: Support purchasing and supply chain teams by verifying stock availability.
• Warehouse Coordination: Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly inventory reports for management.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in Zoho software.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and identify trends.
• Problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies.
• Requirement- Interested Candidate Must reside around Ajah or its Environs
