Job Title: LPG Cylinder Delivery Driver

Location: Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

TQE is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious LPG Cylinder Delivery Driver to support the movement of LPG cylinders between our Hub, filling facility, and Micro Distribution Centers (MDCs).
The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of cylinders and the timely completion of assigned deliveries.

Responsibilities

Transport empty cylinders from the Hub to the designated filling facility.
Transport filled cylinders from the filling facility to the Hub.
Deliver filled cylinders from the Hub to designated MDCs.
Collect empty cylinders from MDCs when required.
Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes.
Verify quantities loaded onto the vehicle.
Confirm quantities delivered.
Complete delivery and receiving documentation.
Ensure cylinders are safely secured during transportation.
Conduct required vehicle inspections.
Report vehicle defects and maintenance requirements.
Maintain vehicle and delivery records.
Monitor fuel usage and report abnormal consumption.
Immediately report accidents, incidents, damaged cylinders or other safety issues.

What Success Looks Like

Deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Cylinder quantities are accurately accounted for.
No unexplained cylinder losses occur during transportation.
The vehicle remains operational and properly maintained.
Required documentation is complete.
All safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

Valid Nigerian driver's licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
2–5 years of professional driving experience preferred.
Commercial driving experience.
Experience transporting LPG, gas cylinders, fuel or other regulated materials is an advantage.
Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
Good understanding of vehicle safety.
Reliable, punctual and responsible.
Good communication skills.
Strong safety awareness.
