We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mobile Equipment Mechanic

Ref. ID: R192396
Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modifications on reach stackers, empty handlers, forklifts, trucks, and related equipment
Diagnose equipment breakdowns and perform corrective repairs to minimise downtime and maximise availability
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance in line with OEM standards and safety regulations
Repair defects raised through examiner defect lists and inspection reports
Complete work orders, confirmation slips, and maintenance records accurately
Follow HSSE rules, safe working procedures, and housekeeping standards
Work shifts and standby duties to support 24‑hour terminal operations.

What We Are Looking For

Continuous improvement mindset: curiosity about equipment reliability and commitment to safe, quality workmanship
ND, HND, BSc, or Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
3–5 years’ experience as a mechanic in ports, mines, steel, or manufacturing environments
Experience working with mobile equipment such as reach stackers, empty handlers, and forklifts
Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Willingness to respond to emergency repairs and work shifts.
