Olam Agri is seeking a Non-Commodity Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of non-commodity goods and services at its Ilorin location.

This role is vital in ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier management, and operational excellence to support the company’s business goals. The position involves managing procurement activities related to engineering spares, services, logistics, and other critical needs. The successful candidate will lead strategic sourcing efforts, drive sustainability initiatives, and optimize resource utilization to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

EssentialNice to have below

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
5 to 7 years of procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, industrial, or multinational settings.
Experience with Capex, engineering spares, logistics, freight, service contracts, and indirect procurement.
Proven skills in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and procurement transformation.
Knowledge of EXIM processes, customs clearance, and procurement documentation.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement costs within approved budgets and implement cost-saving strategies.
Ensure timely delivery and quality of engineering spares and related services.
Lead sustainability efforts across procurement categories to support company goals.
Oversee the entire procurement process for engineering spares and services.
Develop and mentor a high-performing procurement team.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvements.
Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and maintain strategic supplier partnerships.
Mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and proactive sourcing.
