About the Role
- We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and trustworthy Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and personal support to a busy Executive.
- The ideal candidate must have previous experience supporting an Executive, CEO, MD, Director, or other senior professional and be capable of managing schedules, coordinating activities, handling confidential information, and ensuring the Executive's day-to-day activities run smoothly.
- The successful candidate must also be a confident and experienced driver with a valid driver's licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Executive's daily schedule, appointments, meetings, and commitments.
- Coordinate meetings, calls, travel arrangements, and other engagements.
- Serve as a key point of contact between the Executive and internal/external stakeholders.
- Prepare, organise, and follow up on documents, correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Monitor tasks, deadlines, and commitments and ensure timely follow-up.
- Attend meetings with the Executive where required and take accurate notes/action points.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high level of discretion.
- Make phone calls, send correspondence, and manage communications on behalf of the Executive when required.
- Assist with personal and administrative errands and ensure they are handled efficiently.
- Drive the Executive safely to meetings, appointments, events, and other destinations as required.
- Ensure the vehicle used by the Executive is properly maintained, clean, and roadworthy.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, clients, and other contacts on behalf of the Executive.
- Conduct research and gather information to support the Executive's decision-making.
- Track and manage assigned expenses, purchases, and administrative requirements.
- Anticipate the Executive's needs and proactively resolve issues before they become problems.
- Perform other duties that may reasonably be assigned by the Executive.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–4 years' experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Executive Secretary, or similar role.
- Demonstrable experience *directly supporting an Executive, CEO, Managing Director, Director, or senior professional.
- Must be able to drive confidently and possess a valid driver's licence.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and other productivity tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Professional appearance, attitude, and communication style.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
- Must be reliable, punctual, proactive, and highly resourceful.
- Proximity to Sangotedo or willingness to commute to Sangotedo is highly preferred.
Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate is someone who does not need to be constantly instructed.
- You should be able to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, follow through on tasks, and represent the Executive professionally.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and supporting a demanding Executive will be a strong advantage.
Compensation
N200,000 – N300,000 monthly, depending on experience and suitability.
