Stanbic IBTC Bank is seeking a dedicated Personal Banker to join their team in Yenogoa, Bayelsa. The role involves managing a portfolio of retail clients by delivering tailored banking solutions and building lasting relationships.

The successful candidate will proactively identify client needs and cross-sell appropriate products to maximize value for both clients and the bank. This position requires a strong understanding of banking products and processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively. Requirements

University degree.
5-7 years of experience in banking, preferably with knowledge of products, processes, and systems.
Experience in contact center environments and client onboarding.
Proven track record in sales campaigns.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail clients to encourage retention and referrals.
Inform customers about lending applications, credit maintenance, and account conduct requirements.
Conduct needs analyses to recommend suitable banking products and services.
Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities within the client portfolio.
Manage the portfolio to optimize revenue, minimize risks, and strengthen client loyalty.

Key skills
