Job Description

• Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, Science and other assigned subjects.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, class activities and assessments.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that supports effective learning.
• Monitor, assess and document pupils’ academic progress and overall development.
• Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate support to pupils who require additional assistance.
• Use a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, projects, discussions and practical exercises, to enhance learning.
• Promote good behaviour, discipline, respect, teamwork and positive social skills among pupils.
• Supervise pupils during lessons, breaks, school activities and other assigned periods.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans and pupils’ progress.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding pupils’ academic performance, behaviour and development.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers, school management and support staff.
• Participate in school events, meetings, extracurricular activities and professional development programmes.
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organised, safe and conducive to learning.
• Follow all school policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
• Stay updated on effective teaching practices and continuously improve instructional skills
