• Master's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Development Studies, International Development, Public Administration, Gender Studies, Law, or related field; Bachelor's degree with extensive relevant experience considered.
• 7-10 years of progressive experience managing donor-funded programs in democracy, governance, gender equality, or international NGO sectors.
• Proven track record in policy advocacy, research uptake, and public-sector engagement.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex partnerships.
• Strong skills in grant management, budgeting, donor reporting, and compliance.
• Familiarity with monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks to improve program outcomes.
• Direct experience with women's political participation, elections, governance reform, or civic engagement preferred.

• Lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of Democracy & Governance programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for program activities including leadership training, civic engagement, policy dialogues, and research initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with government bodies, civil society, development partners, and regional institutions.
• Drive policy research and advocacy efforts, producing knowledge products and facilitating multi-stakeholder engagements.
• Support resource mobilization by contributing to proposal development and donor engagement.
• Oversee program monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning activities to inform decision-making and reporting.
