Job Description
- Our client is looking for an energetic, commercially minded Sales & Marketing Associate who can take the business into the market, open doors and turn opportunities into actual revenue.
- This is a hands-on, field-driven role. You will be expected to find customers, identify projects that will need the products, build relationships, generate qualified leads and close business.
- We Need a Sales Hunter — Not a Report Writer!
Your Mission
- Drive sales and revenue growth across especially in Port Harcourt and Asaba
- Win new customers and develop new business opportunities
- Build relationships with contractors, developers, construction companies, civil engineering firms and project stakeholders
- Generate, negotiate and convert leads into sales
- Develop repeat business and customer retention
- Conduct regular market visits and track competitors, pricing and market opportunities
- Build a strong professional network within the construction industry
- Consistently achieve agreed sales targets.
Requirements
- HND / B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant sales/marketing experience
- Proven ability to generate leads and convert them into sales
- Experience selling construction, building, engineering, industrial products or related products
- Strong knowledge of the Port Harcourt business/construction market is an added advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong follow-up discipline and commercial drive
- Confidence working in the field and meeting customers.
This is not for a desk-bound salesperson
- If you cannot prospect, network, meet decision-makers, identify projects and chase opportunities through to closing, this role is not for you.
- The client needs someone who will actively generate sales—not merely prepare call/sales reports.
Remuneration
- Salary: N180,000 / month.
- Attractive commissions and bonuses available besides salary.
