Role Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and target-driven Sales Officer to drive customer acquisition, promote the Bank’s products and services, generate business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
• The role involves direct customer engagement, relationship management, lead conversion and achievement of assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through field sales, referrals, partnerships and other approved channels.
• Promote the Bank’s products and services, including savings, loans, accounts, cards and other financial solutions.
• Generate, follow up and convert leads into active customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Support customer onboarding and ensure required documentation is properly completed.
• Drive account opening, deposits, product uptake and other assigned business targets.
• Conduct market and customer research to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Service teams to support customer acquisition and retention.
• Follow up with prospective customers and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Monitor personal sales performance and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.
• Ensure all sales and customer onboarding activities comply with the Bank’s policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide feedback on customer needs, market trends and competitor activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in banking, microfinance, fintech or financial services.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a target-driven environment.
• Good knowledge of banking and financial products is an advantage.
• Customer-focused, proactive and results-oriented.
