Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Officer to lead security operations across our properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day security operations across HOP Services properties, including Little Afrika shortlet apartments.
• Supervise and coordinate junior security staff/guards, including shift scheduling and duty assignments.
• Conduct regular security assessments and identify vulnerabilities across sites.
• Monitor and manage access control, CCTV systems, and visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
• Enforce security SOPs and ensure staff compliance.
• Prepare incident reports and daily/weekly security logs for management.
• Ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property at all times.
• Conduct routine patrols across facilities, especially during night shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a security role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/senior capacity.
• Prior experience in hospitality, real estate, or facility security preferred.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and access control.
• Military, paramilitary, or law enforcement background is an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and respond to emergencies.
• Physically fit and alert.
• Good report writing skills.

Qualifications:

• SSCE/OND minimum; relevant security certifications are a plus.

Salary
N70,000 - N90,000 / month.
