About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Assistant Farm Manager to join our team in Tarlac City, Central Luzon. This role is crucial for overseeing swine farm operations and ensuring efficient management practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary medicine and agriculture, with at least five years of supervisory experience in swine farming. You will work closely with the Farm Manager to enhance farm processes and maintain high standards of production.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Farm Manager in supervising daily farm operations to ensure efficiency.
• Implement enhancements to existing processes for improved productivity.
• Ensure appropriate inventory management and data processing systems are in place.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain farm facilities and uphold bio-security measures.
• Monitor the performance of third-party workforce to ensure quality standards.
• Prepare and implement budget proposals to align with farm goals.
• Address community concerns related to farm operations effectively.
• Supervise and evaluate direct reports to foster a productive work environment.
• Manage farm expansion projects to support growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or related agricultural courses.
• At least five years of supervisory experience in swine farming.
• Strong knowledge of the swine production process and farm management.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide teams.
• Proficient in computer skills for data management and reporting.
• Strong numerical skills for budget preparation and analysis.
• Effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate with various teams for seamless operations.
