About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Swine Farm Supervisor to manage our operations in Concepcion, Central Luzon. This role involves overseeing the daily activities of our swine herd and ensuring optimal health and productivity. You will play a crucial part in implementing genetic programs and maintaining biosecurity protocols. If you are passionate about animal husbandry and have experience in staff supervision, this position is for you.

As a Swine Farm Supervisor, you will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure that our farm meets industry standards. You will also be responsible for training staff and preparing reports on farm performance. This is an onsite role, requiring your presence at the farm to effectively manage operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the swine herd to ensure health and productivity.
Implement and monitor genetic programs to enhance herd quality.
Supervise farm staff and ensure they follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Conduct health checks and manage issues related to gestation and breeding.
Maintain detailed breeding records to track herd performance.
Implement biosecurity protocols to protect the herd from disease.
Train and supervise staff in various farm units to improve efficiency.
Prepare reports on performance and operations for management review.

Requirements

Experience in animal husbandry and swine management.
Strong knowledge of biosecurity practices and protocols.
Ability to supervise and train farm staff effectively.
Proficient in data analysis and record keeping.
Familiarity with genetic programs in swine production.
Budget management skills are a plus.
