At Thornbury Community Services, we believe every child deserves the chance to live life to the fullest. We’re looking for paediatric nurses who want to make a real difference - helping young people stay safe, achieve their goals, discover new hobbies, and enjoy experiences that matter most to them.

Your role goes beyond clinical care. You’ll build trust with families, create safe environments, and empower children to take trips, learn new skills, and thrive at home and in their community. Every shift is an opportunity to change a life.

Why This Role Matters

Joining Thornbury means being part of something bigger - giving children the chance to grow, learn, and experience joy despite complex health needs.

We are looking for highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses with an ICU, PICU, HDU, or complex community care background to support children with complex healthcare needs in their own homes and communities. Working on a one-to-one basis, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional clinical care while helping children and their families achieve the best possible quality of life.

We offer flexible shift patterns across a variety of community care packages and are seeking nurses who are adaptable, reliable, and committed to making a real difference. If you are passionate about providing outstanding care, building meaningful relationships with families, and using your clinical expertise to support children to thrive at home, we'd love to hear from you.

We’re seeking nurses who are:

• Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for paediatric care.
• Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
• Skilled in key areas such as Tracheostomy Management, Ventilation experience, enteral feeding, epilepsy and seizure management and more.
