• For external candidates, the starting salary is the first step of the salary range.

• Responsibilities for accounting services include receiving and preparing cheques and cash for deposit; drafting and recording journal voucher transactions; recording account payment information; preparing client accounts for invoicing; processing and mailing invoices; and responding to accounts receivable and payable inquiries from clients.
• The position reconciles and files financial reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, and prepares and submits files in electronic spreadsheet form on a monthly basis.
• The position is responsible for the monitoring and accurate reporting of a collective revenue of over $5,000,000.
• The majority of accounting work is performed using the Event Business Management System (EBMS) and Excel.
• Assists the Administrative Assistant, Harbour Centre Administration, Director, Meeting and Event Services, and the General Manager, Centre for Dialogue, with statistical reports, and with the annual reporting for accounts receivable using both FASBE and EBMS.
