About the Role
Zahr Freighters is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and logistics team in Dubai. This position is perfect for an experienced professional who is safety-conscious and can efficiently handle materials while supporting seamless warehouse operations in a dynamic freight environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
- Transport materials and products to designated storage areas.
- Inspect forklifts before and after use to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to safety regulations and warehouse operating procedures at all times.
- Assist in organizing and stacking inventory efficiently.
- Support warehouse staff with shipping and receiving activities.
- Report equipment issues or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement when required.
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- 2–3 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse or logistics environments.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials when necessary.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
