Job Description

About the Role

The Graduate Student Affairs Specialist will play a vital role in supporting graduate students at our Abu Dhabi campus. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 15 years of experience in an administrative role. The specialist will ensure that students receive the necessary support throughout their academic journey. This role is on-site in Abu Dhabi, and fluency in Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Generate periodic data reports by updating current student lists.
  • Track academic transcript processes and identify changes in majors.
  • Audit students’ academic records to verify grades and GPAs.
  • Prepare statistics and reports related to enrolled, registered, and graduated students.
  • Coordinate with colleges to submit students’ Progress Review Forms and other requests.
  • Assist visitors and callers by providing information or directions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate academic discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Experience in graduate education administration is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction.
  • Proficiency in desktop applications for data management.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
