About the Role

The HSE Data & Assurance Coordinator is a mid-level position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) data. The coordinator will work closely with various teams to validate safety performance data and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). Candidates should have a strong background in data analytics and business intelligence, particularly in the context of HSE reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of HSE data records.
  • Validate safety performance data and track KPIs effectively.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to ISO standards.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for data visualization.
  • Produce comprehensive safety performance reports for stakeholders.
  • Support contractor governance and conduct performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant certification in a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in data analytics or safety performance monitoring.
  • Proven experience in data validation and HSE reporting.
  • ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certifications are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate is a plus.
  • Incident investigation training (ICAM or equivalent) is beneficial.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
