About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Customer Service Officer to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients and ensure a smooth experience within our healthcare environment. Your primary focus will be on delivering excellent customer service and assisting patients with their needs. This position is on-site, and candidates must be fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and support to patients in a healthcare setting.
  • Handle patient inquiries, appointments, registrations, and service requests effectively.
  • Assist patients with hospital procedures and necessary paperwork.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and front desk communications professionally.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and service documentation.
  • Support billing, insurance verification, and appointment scheduling processes.
  • Promote a positive patient experience by upholding high service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in hospitals, clinics, or healthcare facilities is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare management systems is necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment with changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of patient service standards and healthcare administration is an advantage.
  • UAE healthcare experience is a plus.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
