About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Production Supervisor to join our team in Sharjah. This role requires hands-on experience in managing production teams and ensuring product quality. You will oversee daily operations and maintain safety standards. A background in coatings and manufacturing processes is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production tasks to enhance quality and safety.
  • Oversee all production operations, including raw material storage.
  • Guide the workforce by assigning tasks and giving instructions.
  • Ensure manufacturing aligns with batch cards and management systems.
  • Train staff and ensure proper job allocation.
  • Supervise maintenance technicians and ensure equipment checks.
  • Coordinate with the Production Planner for timely batch planning.
  • Manage ERP transactions for stock transfers and postings.
  • Enforce safety protocols and participate in the Fire Fighting Team.
  • Control departmental costs, including overtime.
  • Maintain production records and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Ensure a safe work environment following HSE policies.
  • Follow SOPs, QMS, EMS, and OHSAS systems.
  • Oversee production line operations and team coordination.
  • Manage site maintenance and supervise preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure daily plans are followed and stock is available.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering fields.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in production supervision.
  • Hands-on experience in managing production teams effectively.
  • Technical expertise in coatings and manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret batch cards and SOPs.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills are a plus.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
