Junior Support Officer – Mechanical Engineering On-site Abu Dhabi

About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Support Officer – Mechanical Engineering to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for individuals with a basic understanding of mechanical systems who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. As a Junior Support Officer, you will provide essential support for mechanical systems and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our engineering operations. Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in inspecting, testing, and performing preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Support troubleshooting efforts for mechanical faults to minimize downtime.
• Monitor the performance of mechanical systems and report any abnormalities.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment to meet project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities for compliance and reporting.
• Support adherence to mechanical safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance tasks and updates.
• Help prepare technical reports and records to document activities and findings.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies in all tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma is required for this position.
• 0–2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or engineering support.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and their operations.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings accurately.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve issues effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to manage reports and records.
• Good communication skills to work collaboratively with the team.
• UAE National only, as per local employment regulations.
