About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Support Officer – Mechatronics Engineering to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will provide essential support for mechatronic systems. Your work will help ensure that our automated equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for UAE Nationals who are eager to start their engineering careers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for mechatronic systems to resolve issues quickly.
  • Assist in inspecting, testing, and maintaining automated equipment for reliability.
  • Support troubleshooting of electromechanical faults to reduce downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and report abnormalities to the team.
  • Help with installation, commissioning, and basic programming of PLC-controlled systems.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities for future reference.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during all tasks.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports and paperwork to document activities.
  • Follow Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies in all operations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • 0–2 years of experience in mechatronics or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of mechatronic systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings accurately.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to solve problems.
  • Familiarity with automation systems and testing tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
