About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Utility Operator to join our team in Dubai. This role involves working on-site and supporting the Operator in various tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations in a heavy industry environment. The ideal candidate should have a Forklift Licence Category 7 and complete training modules for the PG5 position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operator in refurbishing superstructures to maintain quality standards.
  • Prepare tools and equipment for casting operations to ensure efficiency.
  • Operate mobile equipment like forklifts and pay loaders safely.
  • Help with bricks lining according to established standards.
  • Carry out refurbishment and welding tasks on superstructures.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area.

Requirements

  • Completion of training modules for PG5 position is essential.
  • One year of experience in heavy industry is preferred.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
