About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Technician to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and hands-on experience with gas turbines. You will work on-site, ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems in a thermal power plant. Candidates must be fluent in English and able to work in a multicultural environment. Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Attend to preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance tasks.
• Assist Technician Engineers or handle jobs independently.
• Carry out maintenance work while following EHS standards.
• Track repeated breakdowns and recommend solutions.
• Guide contract workers during maintenance repairs.

Requirements

• Hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in a thermal power plant.
• Possess hands-on experience with GE Frame 9E/9FA Gas Turbines.
• Be knowledgeable about mechanical maintenance tools.
• Demonstrate computer literacy and technical skills.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Show self-motivation and the ability to work in diverse teams.
