About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Accounting & Tax Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a strong background in corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and VAT compliance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies while ensuring compliance with local regulations. This position is onsite and offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage tax compliance and strategy to align with corporate goals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns to avoid penalties.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize financial outcomes.
  • Review Group Structure for tax optimization to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and review corporation tax calculations to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage tax audits and inquiries to maintain compliance.
  • Identify and assess tax risks and opportunities to mitigate liabilities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals to foster growth.

Requirements

  • Hold a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or a Masters in Law.
  • Have 3-4 years of experience as a Tax Manager in a Big 4 or multinational corporation.
  • Possess at least 7 years of experience in corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and VAT in the GCC or Europe.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations relevant to the UAE.
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience with tax software and financial reporting tools is advantageous.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
