About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Income Auditor to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in accounting and auditing, along with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in income auditing or a similar position. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial records and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. Responsibilities

  • Balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements to ensure accuracy.
  • Verify that all departments have posted their revenues correctly to maintain financial integrity.
  • Monitor and review hotel reports and night audit reports for discrepancies.
  • Ensure month-end deadlines and schedules are met for timely reporting.
  • Respond to Credit Card Charge Backs and inquiries to resolve issues promptly.
  • Reconcile Credit Card Commissions daily to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile food and beverage point of sale systems with the PMS system for consistency.
  • Review front office rebates and ensure proper authorization for all transactions.
  • Prepare daily operational packages for management to facilitate decision-making.
  • Assist with month-end closing and analyze bank accounts for accuracy.
  • Prepare month-end Income journal entries to reflect accurate financial data.
  • Assist the General Cashier with surprise float counts to ensure cash accuracy.
  • Report discrepancies to the Audit Supervisor or Accountant for further investigation.
  • Replace the Audit Supervisor in their absence to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Complete various accounting tasks as required to support the finance team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in income auditing or a similar role is required.
  • Proficiency in financial management software, including Sun System and Opera.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and auditing procedures is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address financial discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and departments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
