Manager of Communications

About the Role

Shamal Holding, a leading diversified investment firm based in Dubai, is seeking a Manager of Communications. This role involves supporting the Director of PR & Communications in shaping and enhancing the corporate reputation of the Group. You will drive strategic communications across the holding entity and its diverse portfolio, ensuring effective media engagement and thought leadership positioning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated corporate communications strategy aligned with the Group’s long-term vision.
• Articulate the Group’s investment philosophy and growth narrative clearly and consistently.
• Oversee media relations and external communications strategies for corporate and portfolio narratives.
• Manage relationships with regional and international media outlets to enhance brand equity.
• Lead crisis communications planning and monitor media coverage for strategic insights.
• Drive public-facing PR strategies across lifestyle, real estate, and hospitality sectors.
• Provide direction for internal communications to ensure consistent messaging organization-wide.
• Establish communication governance frameworks and ensure compliance with messaging protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• 10-14 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or reputation management.
• Experience in investment firms, sovereign wealth funds, or large conglomerates preferred.
• Proven track record in managing high-level media engagement and executive positioning.
• High credibility and strong executive presence.
• Ability to work discreetly with sensitive information while remaining calm under pressure.
• Strategic thinker with a collaborative leadership style.
• Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
