About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Airfield and Civils Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves overseeing maintenance tasks in civil engineering and aviation environments. You will work on various projects, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations. A strong background in facilities management is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractors to ensure safe and efficient service delivery.
  • Inspect civil assets and maintain accurate records of findings.
  • Support planning and execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Review technical documents and maintenance plans for accuracy.
  • Track asset performance and report on compliance with standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure quality.
  • Document changes to project scope and specifications as needed.
  • Work closely with teams and stakeholders to achieve goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in facilities management.
  • Experience managing contractors in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of civil maintenance and asset management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory rules in aviation.
  • Good skills in talks and stakeholder management.
  • UAE driving license is required for this role.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
