About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Assistant System Controller to join our team in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering. You will work on-site to support the control room operations. Your expertise will help ensure safe and efficient power generation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Control Room Engineer to ensure smooth operations.
• Track control equipment and plant parameters for optimal performance.
• Operate the plant to maintain safe and efficient power generation.
• Assist in collecting operational data for performance analysis.
• Initiate the start-up and shut down of plant equipment as needed.
• Watch system conditions and report any alarms immediately.
• Train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Raise work requests to address any operational issues.
• Follow environmental rules to ensure compliance.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Hold a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in the Power or Manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
• Possess skills in Visual Basic programming for automation tasks.
• Show strong problem-solving abilities in technical situations.
• Exhibit effective communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
