About the Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Contracts Administrator to join our team in Dubai. This role involves overseeing contracts in line with FIDIC standards. You will play a key part in ensuring that all contractual obligations are met while supporting project teams in their efforts. Your expertise will be essential in managing various aspects of contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer contracts according to FIDIC conditions.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize all contractual documents.
  • Handle daily contract administration and correspondence.
  • Prepare, review, submit, and follow up on Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
  • Track project cash flow and assist with commercial reporting.
  • Prepare and manage variation orders and change requests.
  • Handle Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and claims preparation.
  • Review contractual risks and ensure adherence to rules.
  • Support commercial management tasks and activities.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and their application.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills to assess contractual risks effectively.
  • MRICS qualification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.

Statutory benefits (UAE)

  • Wage Protection System (WPS)

    Current-month wages must be paid via WPS no later than the 1st of the following Gregorian month. Establishments must transfer ≥85% of total wages by the deadline (Ministerial Resolution 340/2026).

  • End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)

    21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years; 30 days per year thereafter. Allowances are excluded from the calculation.

  • Annual leave

    Minimum 30 calendar days per year after the first year of service (2 days per month between 6 and 12 months).

  • Sick leave

    Up to 90 days per year on a structured paid/unpaid schedule once probation completes.

  • Health insurance

    Mandatory employer-provided coverage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
